Steens Mountain is located in South Eastern Oregon. A 30 mile long fault block with it's east face that rises one vertical mile above the Alvord Desert, Steens Mountain is the largest fault block mountain in the northern Great Basin.
It's also one of my favorite places to shoot. Especially with it's splendid summer wildflower displays and colorful fall colors it keeps me and my camera really busy!
