John Hutmacher with one of his wonderful desserts.
Barbara hosted a costume party to commenmorate the Fred Harvey Company which was owner of the "Harvey House" chain of restaurants, hotels, and other hospitality businesses that were located alongside railroads in the western United States. The restaurants served fantastic food and not only at it's restaurants but also in the dining cars of the Santa Fe railroad passenger trains. Barbara selected recipes developed by chefs of the Harvey Houses and all the quests wore costumes of that era. Lots of fun and great food!
