What an epic journey. A week spent on the main stem of Idaho's Salmon River, the River of No Return. The river runs through the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness. It was a week viewing and photographing beautiful scenery,riding the river through pools and rapids, enjoying great food and drinks, and making new friends. And to top it off, the real reason for being there, the marriage of my friends Helen and Glen. So this gallery features the twenty of us enjoying a great week in the second deepest canyon in the continental U.S.!
