Loch Ness is at it's center, overlooked by the ruins of medieval Urquhart Castle. Loch Ness is known for the mythical monster "Nessie". The hills put on a beautiful display of gold and red hues in fall. There are beautiful lakes and waterfalls and not to mention an amazing array of castles. Scotland is rich in ancient history.
