Palatki Heritage site is in the Coconino National Forest. about 20 miles from Sedona. It is a canyon of immense Southwest natural beauty. A place that has for thousands of years provided food and shelter for ancient wandering people of archaic times and people who came by later and stayed building amazing cliff dwellings between 1125 to 1275 and practiced agriculture for food. The reminders they left behind, stories on the canyon walls and the cliff dwellings that have survived the test of time are still here for all to see and experience.
