South Sister, one of the three peaks that make up the famous Three Sisters, is the third highest mountain in Oregon. It is also one of the most climbed peaks in the Cascade range because it's basically a hike. But it's steep and rugged hiking, 5,000 vertical feet in six miles. But the views are awesome. Here are some of the sights I captured with my camera last August, 2013, my second visit since 1992.
