December is a nice time of year to visit Sabino Canyon. This unique Southwest desert canyon is located in the eastern foothills of the Catalina mountain range. This time of year offers fall colors of the sycamore trees and willows that reside in the riparian areas of the canyon. Located amongst the fall color are stands of saguaro cactus and some really rugged mountain scenery. A truly beautiful place to visit and photograph
