35 years ago I hiked up to Kearsarge Pass. So in October 2013 I have returned for a revisit! Starting at 9,800 feet at Onion Valley in the Eastern Sierras the trail traverses some pretty spectacular high country and tops out at nearly 12,000 feet at Kearsarge Pass.
