I first met Chris Davis in the 1970's. Chris and I were co-workers working as medical messengers for the Ventura County Health Department. We delivered patient's charts, lab specimens, and all sorts of clinic supplies servicing all of Ventura County's satellite clinics and the Ventura County General Hospital. Cool job. Chris and I became close friends. I lived in the Pierpont Beach area along with my wife at the time. Chris was kind of a 3rd partner in our family. He was at our place quite often. The three of us did a lot of things together. I was a budding photographer at the time. So I took a lot of photos of Chris being Chris. He had a great sense of humour. A real fun character and a really great friend of long ago. I wish we could have reconnected. So here's a look back at some of those fun moments with my buddy of long ago and some of his and our friends in the 1970's
