Mission Creek Preserve and Whitewater Preserve, both owned and operated by The Wildlands Conservancy in Southern California. Located near Palm Springs, these two preserves are close enough that you can visit both in one day hike but I took my time and did them separately.
Thanks Wildlands Conservancy for saving these "gems" for all of us and future generations so we can experience some of these wildlands in California.
