The fall colors of 2023 were spectacular!
I made several trips to some of my favorite locations on the Mt. Hood and the Deschutes National Forests. The colors seemed extra special this year. Especially the red vine maple on the west side of the Cascades and the aspen stands on the east side slopes.
Albert Camus, French philosopher and author, wrote a quote that expressed it best.
"Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower "
